The Victorian era of the UK was the period of Queen Victoria's rule from 1837-1901. This has always been remembered as a long period of prosperity for the British people, as profits gained from the overseas British Empire, as well as from industrial improvements at home, allowed a large, educated middle class to develop. This set of cufflinks was made to resemble cufflinks worn during that era. Not antiques themselves, these cufflinks celebrate that period.
