Tokyo Manhole Cufflinks

Kenji wears these three-quarter inch diameter cufflinks with a replica of one of Tokyo’s actual manhole covers. The small flower and intricate surrounding design are replicated in black on white enamel on a nickel-plated backing. He uses the cufflink to show his friends how art permeates Japanese life, even the entrance to a sewer.
