OK, maybe the Horny Toad isn't its real name, but it is everybody's favorite name for this lovable creature. It's real name is the Desert horned lizard (Phrynosoma platyrhinos). It is a horned lizard found in the West of North America. They are sometimes referred to as "Horned Toads" or "Horny Toads", even though they are not toads.
