The Screaming Eagles
Mostly anyone knows the history that the 101st Airborne Division made for America. Famously known as the “Screaming Eagles”, the 101st Airborne Division is part of the U.S. Army specially trained for air assault operations. This division served important roles from the Battle of the Bulge in World War II, to the Vietnam War and to the Persian Gulf War. Without a doubt, the Screaming Eagles has developed a reputation for its bravery and heroism. The Screaming Eagles served as a great inspiration for aspiring young soldiers in the U.S. Army to continue serving the nation with dignity and excellence, make a name for themselves. They serve as a true model for loyal countrymen who want to make a better change and mold a bright future for their fellow Americans. At the time when the 101st Division was placed in service, Major General William C. Lee assured the men a “rendezvous with destiny”. For the soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division, such an important motto should be kept in the heart. These soldiers have an important part in the history, and we should thank them by wearing these Airborne Screaming Eagles Cufflinks.
