The signs of the zodiac have been around for centuries and are believed to be connected in some way to the stars. There are twelve different signs. The signs also correspond with certain times of the year so for example if you were 
born between 22nd December and the 19th Jan then you will be a Capricorn. The twelve signs are Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. Each of these signs are connected to an element as well. The four elements are water, air, earth and fire. The signs of the zodiac can tell you a lot about your personality and your temperament. A lot of people believe strongly in the zodiac signs and it has even been known for women to refuse a date because men are the wrong sign for their compatibility.
The art of astrology is when an astrologer reads the charts of the stars and deciphers a message for each zodiac sign. This is more commonly known as a horoscope. They tell you about what is going to happen in your future, be it a day ahead or a year. Skeptics believe that these horoscopes don’t mean much while others will live their lives by their horoscopes.
