The Elemental Capacity Of A Symbol Has Saved Humanity Before; It Would Probably Do So Again!
In the past, it was a big mystery to everyone what this Liquid Lunch is. Almost everyone has heard of it, almost everyone has seen it, and yet the idea of a lunch being liquid remains difficult to grasp.
What adds more mystery is the origin of the name and how such became liquid and to an extent, lunch. But to tackle that is to tread on a different adventure. It has been said that everyone that has been given a lecture about the origin of the name “Liquid Lunch” either forgot what Liquid Lunch means or were drawn more towards the two words’ prophetic role in educating people of what to do come the next vicious and deadly twilight.
The term liquid lunch was said to have been coined about two-thousand years ago, back when a lot of activity by the earth’s crust is happening. Back then, confusion has grown so much it has invaded the hearts of people. Practically, belief in a supernatural entity that would become humanity’s salvation were suspended, and a crisis of faith loomed over half of the world.
Fortunately, what was then an important symbol of family bonding, the sterling silver cufflinks, unexplainably drew the attention of the people. Most families have connoisseur cufflinks made from sterling silver. At first, they treated it as mere decorations to adore their abstract caprices. But, when an eclipse occurred, water rose so high the waves were splashing so violent and flooding was killing hundreds and thousands of people, the people thought that the world has come to an end. Enters the term liquid lunch which miraculously and unexplainably sank through the minds of people that they mumbled it twice, then repeatedly, while still being foreign to what it is or what it means, as if it is a prayer. As if it is the only thing that could stop the disaster.
What one can be sure is that after the incident, after “liquid lunch” became a mantra to oppose the violent energy brought about by the eclipse, the dispersal of water became less and less violent until the oceans pulled it back again, drying the whole land and making the earth livable for the next thousand years.
Up to this day, the mystery of “liquid lunch” haunts everyone. But it remains to rule the imagination of people not by fear but of illumination. And since its concept is so abstract, demand to make a representation of it grew larger and larger until The Liquid Lunch Cufflinks was perfected and made available to everyone.

Let’s admit it; we only got to know the real use of the “at” symbol via the birth of the electronic mail (or e-mail as its hyphenated, shortened and made to sound more high-tech, modern and urban), this even with the fact that the “at” symbol can be found in important archeological finds from both the Ancient Egyptian and Ancient Sumerian civilizations, appearing as hieroglyphs.

Ever since its claws left the comforts of the branch it rests on, ever since it pushed itself towards the luminous white and the unending stretch of blue, ever since it soared to blend with the sunlight and glisten in the moonbeam, ever since we’ve known it to be the symbol of our hopes and aspirations, our joys and depressions, our luck and misfortune, our faith and our allegiance, our people and our institutions, our meters and our yards, ever since we were able to pronounce it while feeling with great awe our knees touching the ground because of the majestic sight it presents, as if it is the sole entity which has been given the right to command what our society, and the relationships among men and women that keep it thriving towards greater and greater expectations, should be, ever since we thought of what our eagle represents as the ruler of us all, ever since the eagle has left its eagleness to participate in our contrived efforts to make ourselves better, ever since then that we have been doomed.
