How Rory Gilmore Loved Yale
The first thing that comes to mind when talking about Yale cufflinks and Yale University in general is the now defunct TV series, Gilmore Girls. If you still remember the show, the daughter, Rory Gilmore goes to Yale University but even before that, her grandparents already dress her room with all Yale and other NCAA college cufflinks, souvenirs and paraphernalias possible.
The life of Rory Gilmore seems to be the life that everyone of us likes to have. It is very ideal, even the worst of times! If you are given the chance to choose the problems you get to have in your entire adolescent life, you’ll choose Rory and that’s not just because she’s from Yale. Well, the most part of it is because of that.
Living with her mother Lorelai Gilmore is the best part of it. Because Lorelai gave birth to Rory at a very young age, the two are most of the time mistaken as sisters and not mothers and daughters. They share their stuff. Even dresses, accessories such as designer cufflinks. But they also share by the rules. You still have to let the other person know that you are borrowing something.
Anyway, those are just the little stuff that you will love about this mother-daughter pair. Many others will send you to tears of joy and would really touch your heart in the funniest way. With the series’ witty dialogue and storyline, living in a small town such as Stars Hallow become a dream come true to someone who was not able to get the same adolescent as Rory.
