Dressing Up

When you dress up for business or for a meeting, do you give much thought to what you will wear? Are you the kind who obsesses about every little detail in his outfit, and will not settle for anything less than perfect? Or are you the type who just pulls out whatever is nearest to the cabinet door and do not even care if all the pieces match or not? Or are you somewhere in between, who makes sure that your dress is clean, ironed and matching? In reality, as long as you are wearing clean clothes, freshly laundered and pressed, and the colors are within the acceptable colors normally worn by men, you will not have a hard time in your meetings and your dealings. As long as the buttons are complete in your shirt, your cuffs are held together by silver cufflinks, your shoes are polished and you do not have any unnecessary facial hair, you will be okay. Now if you want to go one step further, you can put some accessories that will serve some function. For example, a watch that also tells you your longitudinal and latitudinal position so that you know exactly where you are in the part of the globe. Or you can wear some functional cufflinks like the Capsule Thermometer Cufflinks that gives you an idea of the temperature any time of the day. Or a tie bar that is also a pen. But if you’d rather stick with the minimum requirements, then no one can blame you.
