Symbolism of Christianity

December 3rd, 2009 | No Comments | Posted in Signs Cufflinks

cufflinks religion zen gold celtic cross large 02 Symbolism of ChristianityIsn’t it ironic the fact that oldest Christian symbol that we know of today is actually a pagan symbol? Prior to the medieval age, Christians obliterated all pagan religions they have come across with using assimilation techniques. Worse comes to worst, they find it necessary to use violence.

Good thing the Celts have been more accommodative, they need not endure the wrath of the Christians. Instead, they were able to contribute to the flourish of the religion by inculcating their own culture into their own religious practices, thus, influencing the way the whole Christian community practices theirs.

One tradition that we still have today is wearing the Gold Celtic Cross Cufflinks during special occasions and formal social gatherings. The paradox itself makes this religion and Zen cufflinks interesting. You have there a pair of gold cufflinks with etched patterns reminiscent of the Celtic culture and yet, the main design of the cufflinks is the cross emblem.

It tells us a lot about the history of Christianity. There had been plenty of complications before the battles of the Christian world have been fully fought. We have seen how bloody the medieval age came to be. Along the way, many pagans and non-believers died and all that is left of their culture are taken from them by the religion as a token. The Gold Celtic Cross Cufflinks manifests how much Christianity has downplayed what it did to the world in order for it to flourish. It was a revolution you wouldn’t want to happen ever again.

Doctor, Doctor, I am Psychotic

cufflinks career doctor slogan large Doctor, Doctor, I am PsychoticYou were watching TV and you saw the words “I can help, I’m a doctor” flashed on the screen, what would immediately come to your mind? Your health? The economic crisis affecting the pharmaceutical industry? Such specific ideas cannot but be traced from the disappointingly true nature of man being trapped in dependence to a world resisting to be governed. Such idea isn’t only a theme in literature wrought to take the form of beauty, but that which holds the grand narrative of life’s perpetual renegotiation with the world.

For example, motivators in large fonts and bold caps needlessly soliciting and attracting attention prove the required interconnectedness of life and activity in the world. That’s why it is not a surprise for people to be pressured in wanting to assume roles in the society. As for you, reader, it is almost certain that you went to that phase in life where you dreamt of helping anybody.

So, you wanted to become a doctor. The problem is: you failed. But fear not. If you will buy career related cufflinks like the doctor slogan cufflinks, you will still be able to needlessly and effortlessly solicit and attract attention especially from those who are lying just a hair strand away from the poverty line. Through this, you get to live your dream of helping other people via the most exciting way: putting your patients’ lives at risk.

Let those designer cufflinks be you so that you’ll surely never miss such a chance. Expect to get recognition from the people. Ah, the irony.

Cufflinks Help Me Make It Through The Day

June 6th, 2009 | No Comments | Posted in Signs Cufflinks

Coming back from my recent trip to the UK I felt really down. I didn’t want to come home because I was having such a good time exploring the world and meeting new people. I had to come back because I had run out of money and couldn’t find a job. I moved back in with my parents and went in search of a job that would give me enough money so that I could save up and go back to England. My Mom told me that because of the recession it would be difficult to get a job here too and that I really had to impress the people who were interviewing me. She bought me a snazzy suit and made my resume look amazing.

cufflinks signs london underground thumb 01 Cufflinks Help Me Make It Through The DayMy first interview was with a bank. I wasn’t keen on the job but I so badly wanted to be back in England that I didn’t care what I was doing so long as I was earning. I got the job and started the very next day. After a week or so I had began to complain to my Mom that I was bored and not enjoying the job at all. That’s when she got my present out. She had bought me a pair of London Underground cufflinks as a “well done” gift on getting a job. I wore the sign cufflinks every day to work for the next six months and the time really did fly by. Maybe it was because I had such great memories every time I looked at my cufflinks or maybe it was the determination to see those signs in the flesh again.
