cufflinks functional pill capsule large The Very Functional Pill Capsule CufflinksYou’re a busy person, and you can’t let pain or a cold slow you down.  Sometimes, things can get so active and hectic that you may not have time to spare to run down to the medicine vendor for some relief.  Seconds can count in this hectic world, and when you’re somewhere getting a pill and a drink to wash it down with you’re not calling clients, you’re not processing forms, and you’re not doing your job.  Maybe you keep some medicine at your desk, but what if you aren’t there?  What if you have an allergy attack on the way to a meeting?   Carrying bulky bottles around isn’t very cool, but maybe there’s a solution in the set of a pair of silver cufflinks?  The Pill Capsule Cufflinks are a very elegant and nonchalant way to keep a pair of pills with you wherever you go just in case.  Made with rhodium, these cufflinks unscrew to reveal a hollow compartment, allowing most sizes of pills to be stored securely when you need them.  Very handy to have on you, you may find that you wear these more often than other cufflinks you own.  They don’t necessarily have to hold medicine, mind you.  If espionage is part of what you do, maybe you can hide microfilm or a secret message in a way that won’t be immediately spotted if you happen to be caught.  This set of functional cufflinks also make a great way to keep another kind of pill used by secret agents, but fortunately, given that you’re not a secret agent, you’ll just stick to things that relief pain.

Go Beyond The Expected

cufflinks cases multi pair gift large Go Beyond The ExpectedSometimes, just getting one of something just isn’t enough.  Giving a sweetheart one red rose, for instance, is nice every now and then, and has a bit of romance, but romance requires a bit more spontaneity if you’re really trying to wow her.  So you’d certainly consider more than one, right?  A dozen would definitely please her.  And sometimes you might consider daisies or tulips, you know to spice things up a bit.  The same thing goes with cufflinks and other items.  Getting one set is okay, and it’s almost expected to some degree.  They’re good gifts to give for certain, to add a touch of sparkle and sophistication to a new graduate’s attire, to show one’s esteem of a colleague, to congratulate that club member on his wedding anniversary, all without seeming too formal, too personal.  What if you gave someone six sets of silver cufflinks?  That’d get their attention for certain, right?  But where would they keep all of them?  Surely you can’t just assume they’ve got room in whatever cufflink case they have to keep all of them in?  Try this Multi Pair Cufflinks Gift Box along with those cufflinks.  Made of leather with enough space and lined interior cushions to keep those shiny jewels nice and secure, it’s an elegant way to show your appreciation to the intended in a way that shows not only that you’re gracious, but thoughtful enough to provide something to keep them all in.  Now that’s considerate!  So if you’re getting a gift for that special someone, go a few steps more above what is expected.

Confederate Flag Cufflinks

cufflinks flags confederate large 01 Confederate Flag CufflinksMost people are taught that the Civil War was about the end of Slavery in America.  But to many others, it was more than that.  It was the end of an era, the end of a way of life, and the end of something else – State Pride.  Before the Civil War, Americans didn’t consider themselves “American” first, but they considered themselves “Virginians” and “New Yorkers” and “Marylanders.”  They identified with their state first.  And to many who live in the South to this day, they don’t see that the Civil War was a genuine Civil War, in the sense that you have two factions fighting for control of the government as in the English Civil War.  To them, it’s more apt to call the war the War for Southern Independence.  They were fighting to live life on their own terms, not on anyone else’s, most especially to anyone from the North.  They weren’t necessarily defending slavery, but their own sovereignty against that of the federal government and any other state that wished to impose their will on another.  To those who understand this point, and those who enjoy history, a set of Confederate Flag Cufflinks is sure to please.  The Stars and Bars of the battle flag of the Army of Northern Virginia is great for the Civil War re-enactor or those who love their Southern home and wish for a time when states exert more sovereignty against the federal government once again.  These flag and seal cufflinks and other silver cufflinks make excellent collector’s items and gifts to anyone who enjoys a bit of rebellion every now and then.

Wear a Rendezvous With Destiny

cufflinks aviation airborne screamin eagles large Wear a Rendezvous With DestinyMajor General William C. Lee promised the men of the 101st Airborne Division that they had no history, yet they had a “rendezvous with destiny.”  That was back in 1942, not long after America entered the Second World War on the side of the allies, and since then the Screaming Eagles have certainly lived up to that promise.  From Normandy to the Market Garden operation attempt to seize Holland from the Germans, the 101st had then already developed a reputation for courage and heroism.  At Bastogne, Belgium during the Battle of the Bulge, the 101st Airborne was surrounded by German forces.  When ordered to surrender, the commanding general Anthony MacAuliffe issued the one-word reply, “Nuts,” and for days the beleaguered Eagles distinguished themselves as tenacious and steadfast in the face of overwhelming odds.  Since then the Screaming Eagles have continued to set the standard for excellence in the U.S. Army, and those who have served in that division, both as active duty soldiers and relatives who support them when they’re home or deployed have the right to wear the 101st Airborne Division emblem.  The Airborne Screaming Eagles Cufflinks are beautiful silver cufflinks that any Air Assault Soldier would love to wear with their uniform.  Excellent at battalion formals or as gifts for the old veterans who served with the 101st, or even for those who want to show their support for the troops as they fight for their nation overseas, these and other aviation and nautical cufflinks are great for any occasion and make terrific collectors’ items.

Badges You Won’t Get in Trouble for Wearing

cufflinks law enforcement police badge large 01 Badges You Won’t Get in Trouble for WearingNormally it’s against the law to impersonate a police officer.  Anyone caught doing it can, in some states, face prison time for a few years if you go around with a badge with the intention and action of impersonating a law-enforcement officer.  To that end, you won’t get in trouble for wearing these Police Badge Cufflinks.  They’re obviously too small to be real badges, though you might be able to fool some of the dimmer perps that cross your path if you have to deal with them somehow.  However, that’s best left for the professionals to handle.  These gold cufflinks are cast into a generic police badge shield that doesn’t indicate any particular law-enforcement agency or department, but instead show a solidarity for all who make up the thin blue line that maintain civil order in our society.  Being a cop is not easy, nor is being related to one.  You never know what might happen out there, or what someone might do to either yourself or those whom you serve with and care about.  It’s an unending battlefield, where more than one officer has been hurt or even killed in the line of duty.  For that reason we can all show our support and solidarity to those who maintain law and order in our towns, cities, and communities.  These and other law-enforcement cufflinks can make great gifts to those who serve and to those who support civil services such as fire and emergency medical.  And you can wear them without getting into trouble.

Quack-Quack

cufflinks ncaa oregon large 01 Quack QuackWhat’s not to love about the Oregon Ducks?  The Oregon Ducks hold a special place in the hearts of Oregonians.  Naturally that depends on one’s point of view.  If you happen to be an Oregon State Beaver alumni or student you probably have your own reservations.  Oregon has no real national football team, nor do they have a national baseball team, but they two have two hyper-competitive schools that will cheer each other on until the day comes when they have to play one another.  The most prestigious event in this case is the Oregon/Oregon State Civil War Football game.  Played every year at the end of the regular season by both teams, the Civil War is one of the oldest games played in the country, meeting at each team’s home venue every year for 113 games.  Currently, the Ducks hold the lead in the most Civil Wars won, but the Ducks are also known particularly for their field and track.  The legendary Prefontaine made his mark there, along with Bill Bowerman, one of the co-founders of Nike.  On top of all that they’ve got Disney’s Donald Duck as their mascot!  If you’re an alumni, or a student, or you’re just a fan of Oregon sports, you can show your support for Oregon athletics with Oregon Ducks Cufflinks.  These silver cufflinks feature the yellow and emerald “O” symbol that has become a Pac-10 and NCAA icon.  And if you’re just a general Oregon fan, there are Oregon State cufflinks available among other NCAA Cufflinks so that you can show your support for Oregon State.  Just so long as they aren’t playing the Ducks, of course.

Seahawk Pride!

cufflinks nfl seahawks large 02 Seahawk Pride!

The eyes of the NFL football world will be on Seattle this year as former USC Trojan Football head coach Pete Carroll takes the reins as head coach of the Seahawks.  With an outstanding college record that includes seven consecutive Pac-10 Championship Trophies, two national championships and three athletes that have won the coveted Heisman Trophy, it’ll be interesting to see if he can lead the Seattle Seahawks to a victory.  So far, he’s off to a great start with the selections of Russell Okung at OT and Earl Thomas at Safety during the 2010 NFL Draft.  However, just to keep from getting everyone’s hopes up, college ball is not like the NFL, where egos often end up clashing in ways that are almost unheard of at the college level.  Still, it’s going to be an exciting future ahead for the Seattle Seahawks, and Seahawks fans can wear their pride on their sleeve with a set of Seattle Seahawks Cufflinks.  These beautifully rendered silver cufflinks feature the classic Seattle Seahawks football black and blue official logo on a nickel-plated background that will certainly stand out on any sleeve.  These are sure to please any formally dressed Seahawks fan, or any NFL fan who loves the sport of football.  And if the Seahawks aren’t necessarily that fan’s particular team, there are numerous other NFL Cufflinks, one for each team in the league.  Even if you’re not a Seahawks’ fan, it will be interesting to see if Pete Carroll can bring them to their second Super Bowl and thus confirming a lot of expectations on him.  Good luck this year to Coach Carroll and the Seahawks!

cufflinks signs recycle large 02 Make Yourself A Renewable ResourceThe recent revelations of the scandal known as Climategate may have blown the lid off of the notion of man-made global warming, this isn’t necessarily a sign not to care for one’s environment.  Nobody wants to live with pollution and anything we can do to keep our landfills manageable is a noble goal.  Many of us may still remember visions of Lake Erie near Cleveland, Ohio catching fire from all the trash and pollution floating on the lake.  Smog is never pleasant, and can be a serious health threat to those with asthma and the elderly.  Recycling helps to manage our resources in ways that reduces pollution and keeps our trash under control.  You can do your part in reminding others to recycle by sporting a set of Recycled Cufflinks.  These signs cufflinks are sure to catch some attention in a way that doesn’t come off as preachy or obnoxious.  In fact, by having these on, you signify your own recyclability, thus doing your own part to save us all from pollution when, heaven forbid, you might come to an untimely end.  These sterling silver cufflinks are a wonderful adornment to any professional attire and can add something trendy and hip to go with that fun outfit you’re assembling to the coffee shop or the night club.  These and other signs cufflinks will help you make a statement in visceral ways often more effective than mere words. You can make a double fashion statement, for both yourself and for Mother Earth by reminding everyone to recycle wherever you go.

cufflinks signs london underground large 02 London Underground on Your SleeveThe London Underground was the world’s first subway transit system.  It took nine years to complete the first sections and finally opened in 1863.  Over the last 150 years the Tube, as it is affectionately called by Londoners, has become something of a British attraction, with the distinctive red-blue-and-white circular Underground sign as a symbol of London’s swinging 60’s counter-culture.  If you’ve lived in London or been there long enough to get to know this London treasure, or if you simply love the classic symbols made hip and trendy by pop culture, then you’ll come to appreciate these London Underground Cufflinks.  These sterling silver cufflinks evoke the 60’s London scene to match any formal attire, including any that might further emulate the fashion styling of Andy Warhol.  Of course, London has many other themes to give inspiration to your appearance long before she ever dug the Underground.  With a proper and professional suit and tie these links imply both a sense of dignity and class evocative of a good Englishman.  This and other sign cufflinks offer the off-beat style and nuance meant to impart a fun appearance suitable for both work and play, announcing other famous locals on your cuff such as Fisherman’s Wharf of San Francisco, Broadway in Manhattan, and even Route 66.  Delightful and great for collectors, these cufflinks will surely add a bit of spice to your outfit that you’ll and others will come to enjoy.  And if you’ve never been to London to enjoy the Underground, nobody really has to know, do they?
